Introduction to Lymphatic Massage

Approved Providers: Ruth Newnam | Lymphatic massage is a gentle, non-invasive and highly effective way of reducing many types of inflammation. It can be used to aid in the recovery and treatment of various types of inflammatory conditions and minor pathologies. This course explores the anatomy of the lymphatic system including superficial and deep structures, the lymphatic system’s relationship to immune function, the application of lymphatic massage in the treatment of minor pathologies, strategies for integrating lymphatic techniques into traditional massage sessions, and hands-on techniques and sequences to complete a full body lymphatic focused session.
