This class is 4.5 CE. In this training, I guide students through the anatomy of the iliopsoas and quadratus lumborum muscles and important structures nearby. You will learn where the muscles reside in the body, how they act on the lumbar spine, and what gets them into trouble and tension. Students will learn what kinds of symptoms the psoas and QL cause and what your clients will say to let you know to work on these muscles. I then guide you through each step of the protocol, including some fascial stripping in the belly, trigger point location and release, and lots of soothing and integrative techniques.

Happy Hips – Self Care

In this self-care course you will learn easy foam rolling and self myofascial release practices so you can locate and release the exact location of tension causing pain or immobility in your hips, and do it yourself. You will also learn targeted stretching and movement breaks to support hip mobility and freedom. We will cover hip flexors, hip extensors, the inner thighs, and the outer hips.
